Ideas For Using Our New Beads – Beaded Headband & Necklace

Today we thought we would show you a couple of ways to incorporate some of our new BDi beads into your own designs. We’ve had lots of new arrivals in the beads and crystals departments, with a wide range of bicone and rondelle beads in an array of colours, plus some stunning smokey brown silver lined glass beads that add a touch a sparkle to the most simple designs. Take a look at some examples below of how you could use these to make a unique headband or necklace…

Side Headband on BooksThis beautiful side headband was made using one of our smooth metal alice bands, 0.4mm wire and a selection of beads including our 4mm and 6mm crystal clear bicone beads, 6mm x 8mm smokey brown rondelle beads and our glass silver lined beads. The design has been made up of an assortment of sprays, which you can find out how to make in our spray tutorial, here!

You could also use your beads to create a matching necklace like ours, using the same silver lined glass beads in various sizes, along with the rondelle and bicone beads used on the headband. This necklace was incredibly easy to make, and consisted of a single strand of tiger tail finished with crimp beads and one of our lovely new antique silver toggle clasps.

You can find all the products used in these two designs below, and don’t forget to take a look at our new products page which is always updated with the latest new stock…
